Lund University had a record year on The Conversation in 2025. The university’s researchers published 76 articles that together reached 1.1 million reads. In total, all of the university’s articles – including older articles that continue to be read – reached 1.5 million readers during the year.
Lina Eklund’s satellite image analysis of agriculture in Gaza reached nearly 19,000 readers, while Dan-Dan Zhang’s research on how spiders “smell” with their legs fascinated 17,000 readers. Andrea Scotti’s article on how to cook perfect pasta – using particle accelerators – reached 13,000 readers.
