It is now time to nominate honorary doctors for 2026! If you are permanently employed at the Faculty, you are welcome to submit your proposal no later than 31 October 2025.
Being appointed as an honorary doctor at our Faculty is one of the highest distinctions we can award. It is a recognition of individuals who have made a significant impact on our research, education, or academic fields. Take this opportunity to highlight someone you believe deserves the honour.
Who can be appointed honorary doctor?
- Distinguished researchers at foreign universities, or equivalent, who have made important contributions to our Faculty through various forms of collaboration.*
- Individuals who have made major contributions within the Faculty’s subject areas.*
- Individuals in Sweden who, through their research efforts, have benefited research within the Faculty’s subject areas.*
