The project group for the Science Village establishment is working on finalising the evaluation report for Stage 2 of the premises programme presented last year. The report has been produced in close co-operation with White Arkitekter, with contributions from Akademiska Hus, and is an important part of the planning process for the establishment.

The report compares the premises programme for the establishment in Science Village according to Scenario 5 with two reference alternatives to provide a basis for comparison. These reference alternatives are based on the same premises programme and include a co-location of the physics and chemistry departments at the Kemicentrum, as well as a rebuilding/remodeling on the current site. The report will be an analysis of conditions and an evaluation of the options together with cost estimates.

Interim results have been presented to all the management and steering groups involved. The finalised report will provide an important basis for further discussions with the activities involved on the next steps. The report will be made available when it is fully completed on LU in the Science Village blog in the autumn.
