How to come to Lund University as an exchange student

To be able to study at Lund University as an exchange student, your home university must have a formal agreement for exchange studies with Lund University. Contact the International Office at your home university to see whether there is an agreement with Lund University and whether you are eligible to go on an exchange.

It is of great importance, and in your interest, that you have sufficient proficiency in English language. Please check with your home university to make sure that your English is of a satisfactory level for academic studies.

Application process

You apply for exchange studies via the international office at your home university. Once you have been selected and nominated by your home university, you will receive a link to an online application to formally apply for exchange studies.

You apply for accommodation in a separate application, which will be open during the same period as the application for exchange studies.
