Programme syllabi and documents on the attainment of learning outcomes

Current syllabi for all programmes within the Faculty of Science are being translated and will be published on this page as soon as possible. Each programme syllabus has an appendix specifying how the student is to attain all learning outcomes on completion of the programme known as documents on the attainment of learning outcomes. The purpose of these is to specify how the programmes satisfy the requirements set out in the Higher Education Act and the Higher Education Ordinance.

The documents describe the intertwining of research and teaching as well as the academic foundation of the subject. Furthermore, they describe how perspectives which are relevant to the subject on sustainable development, internationalisation, the labour market and equal opportunities are integrated into the programmes. Each document on the attainment of learning outcomes includes a development plan that accounts for the programme’s incremental development with regard to the national qualitative targets.

The document on the attainment of learning outcomes is to be revised once a year.
