Applying for an associate professorship

In order to be appointed as an associate professor, you must have the requisite qualifications and have completed the preparatory course for prospective associate professors. If you wish, you may submit your application before you have finished the course in order to get the process started (it will usually take at least six months to consider your application).

Applications for associate professorship are processed by the Associate Professorship Appointments Board and a decision on appointment is taken by the dean of the faculty.
