The evaluation report for the premises programme linked to Stage 2 has now been published and is available on LU in Science Village blog. The report has been produced by the Stage 2 project team in collaboration with White Arkitekter and with support from Akademiska Hus.

The report analyses the main option – an establishment in Science Village according to Scenario 5 – and compares it with two reference options: co-location of the Physics and Chemistry departments at Kemicentrum and renovation of existing premises at Fysicum and Kemicentrum to meet future needs. It provides an overview of both costs and climate impacts, as well as the pros and cons of each option in relation to the site.

The preliminary results of the report were presented to relevant faculty and university management already in September, and the report will provide an important basis for further discussions on the future of the Faculty of Science and LTH.

Your views are important – please do not hesitate to contact the Stage 2 project manager, Knut Deppert knut [dot] deppert [at] ftf [dot] lth [dot] se ((knut[dot]deppert[at]ftf[dot]lth[dot]se )), if you have any comments on the report or concerns about the establishment.
