Lund University in a major project about evolution

The John Templeton Foundation has allocated GBP 5.7 million (approximately SEK 70 million) to eight higher education institutions for a broad collaborative project on evolutionary research.

The grant is one of the largest ever allocated to research in this field. The project is managed by the University of St Andrews, UK, together with Lund University, Sweden.                                                                     

About 50 researchers within different disciplines will take a comprehensive approach to how evolution works. This includes biologists collaborating with philosophers.
