From Microcosm to Cosmos

Exhibition, 350-årsjubileum

Pictures are often an important part of research results within the natural sciences. These images are sometimes not only interesting from a research perspective but are also beautiful and can spark the imagination of non-scientists.

Together, the departments of the Faculty of Science will exhibit a number of photographs with exciting themes from the tiniest objects made visible using synchrotron light up to gigantic phenomena out in the cosmos that require a telescope to see.

In conjunction with the photo exhibition at Grand Hotel, Marcus Stensmyr, a researcher from Lund University will give a public lecture on smell and food from a biologists perspective. The lecture will be given in Swedish.

All jubilee events.
