Learning and Teaching in Higher Education: Continuation (Division for Higher Education Development)
The course is aimed at teaching staff at Lund University and equals three weeks of fulltime work. It builds on the introductory course on learning and teaching with a focus on student learning from a course leader perspective. The course is given by the Division for Higher Education Development twice a year.
Communication in Teaching
The course is part of the qualifying teacher training offered at the Faculty of Science. It is intended for doctoral students and teaching staff who wish to develop their communication awareness and ability, in particular in a teaching context. The overall objective is for the participants to be able to communicate their research subject in dialogue with various groups and in various contexts, and to be able to support students in developing communication skills. The communication course corresponds to two weeks of full time work.
The registration deadline is 14 August 2017.
Readership preparation course
This course is compulsory for appointment as a reader at the Faculty of Science. The course has also proved useful for newly appointed postdoctoral research fellows (forskarassistent), researchers, associate senior lecturers and others, even if they have not yet reached the point of applying for a readership. The compulsory supervision training is included as part of this course.
Dates for the next course have not been set, but it will probably be in spring 2018.
