Lucat is Lund University’s online directory of people and addresses. It features all employees at the University: doctoral students, teaching and administrative staff, etc. In Lucat you can also search for departments, divisions and units. As a doctoral student, you are entered in Lucat through the department at the time of admission, but it is the responsibility of the individual to update the information as required. Follow the link below for more information on Lucat and on how to update your own information in the system.
Ladok (Local EDP-based documentation system) is a national system for study administration within higher education in Sweden. The system is owned and run by the higher education institutions together through a consortium, but each university owns its own Ladok installation and its own register. Study results and other details for all students in the first, second and third cycles are registered in Ladok. The information in Ladok also forms the basis for many official statistics about higher education in Sweden, and thereby for the ranking of higher education institutions in various contexts, for example.
Primula is Lund University’s human resources and salary system. Primula has an online portal where doctoral students can and should register any change of address, intended annual leave, absence due to illness, when you are at home caring for a sick child (VAB) and when you are going to take parental leave in connection with the birth of a child. A manual in Swedish and English on how to register a change of address, annual leave, illness, care of a sick child and parental leave is available.
You also register your travel expense reports in Primula where applicable. Your expenses are then reimbursed together with the payment of your regular salary.
