Lunch seminar with Niklas Wahlberg
Title: Natural history museums as research infrastructure
Natural history museums play a unique role in our societies as sources of information about changes in our environment over the past 200 years. The Biological Museum at Lund University is a rich source of information for the Nordic region and in particular for southern Sweden. The collections are among the largest in Europe. In this presentation Niklas Wahlberg will show that museums are dynamic places with much more to give to the research community and to society than has been recognized previously.
Everyone interested is welcome to join this inspiring seminar. Sandwiches will be served in the foyer afterwards.
