In order to fit the approximately 200 students and more than 650 guests inside the auditorium of the main University building, the Faculty of Science and science students’ union, LUNA, has divided the Sunday ceremony into two events. At 13:00, half of the students will proceed into the main University building where the guests will already be seated; at 16:00 it is time for the second group of students.

Inside the main auditorium, Dean Olov Sterner will give a speech, after which he, together with Pro-Dean Bo-Anders Jönsson will hand out diplomas to each of the students who have completed their Bachelor’s or Master’s degree. The presentation of diplomas will be interspersed with musical entertainment.

In connection with the first of the two ceremonies on Sunday, Sparbanksstiftelsen Skåne will hand out scholarships to two students. During the second part, LUNA will present their teaching prize and honorary prize. The ceremonies will be concluded with canapés, sparkling wine and mingle outside the main University building.
